xMy Reignited Love for Digimon
when i was watching digimon for the first time in 1999, all my friends were talking about was Pokemon. digital monsters became a quiet thing that only i seemed to have any interest in, which obviously didn't make it nearly as fun to enjoy as i had hoped. i collected the digivices and watched it alone, only occassionally convincing my cousins to play Rumble Arena with me (they preferred Smash).

skip ahead 25 years and as i'm casually sharing my anticipation for the release of the new Digimon game to my husband, turns out that he is just as eager to explore a franchise that he never had the opportunity to do so before. a few months after playing Time Stranger and watching almost the entirety of Tamers together, we're now sharing a passion for the series in the ways i always wanted. i even dedicated an entire page to it where i share my physical trinkets and digital art, you can find the link in the index →
